FAQ
Common questions.
Can’t find your answer? Call +971 2 626 1555 or email info@alberwazinsurance.com.
Do I pay more if I use a broker?
Using a broker doesn’t add a fee to your premium. We’re paid a commission by the insurer you choose, and you pay the premium directly to that insurer, never to us.
Who decides my claim, the broker or the insurer?
The insurer decides and pays claims, under the terms of your policy. As your broker, we help you prepare the claim, send the documents and follow up with the insurer for you. To start a claim, see our contact page.
Which insurers do you work with?
We work with 16 partner insurers in the UAE, including those shown on this page. For each request we approach the ones that suit your risk.
Do you only insure businesses?
No. We focus on business insurance, such as fleet, property, contractors’ all risk, group medical and marine, and we also arrange personal cover such as car, home, health and travel insurance.
How do I pay my premium?
Directly to the insurance company, by cheque, bank transfer or the insurer’s official payment link. Al Berwaz doesn’t accept cash, and no employee may collect payments on your behalf.
Where are you based?
Office 101-102, 1st Floor, Bin Bishr Building, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street, Al Danah, Abu Dhabi. We’re open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, on +971 2 626 1555.
